GTA SA Is still my number one all-time favorite game but I still put loads of hours into GTA IV, probably more than V.

IV is a true masterpiece. I still play it every day, but cause its pretty boring by default, I've installed some gang war script mods and I just play it every day after work like some counter strike type game. For me, IV is the best GTA cause it not only features realistic physics and non-precalculated car damage, but also the Euphoria which makes killing peds really enjoyable like some kind of ASMR

Saints Row 2 was the true peak of the series, and the best it ever was and ever will be. I first played it in 2012 and was blown away how amazing this game was, after playing 3 in 2011. I wish they stuck with the original formula instead of deviating from the source material in a desperate attempt to distance themselves being labeled as a "GTA clone" all because of some ignorant GTA fanboy backlash. They just dug their own grave and it just got worse as the series went on. It was one thing for the Saints, a criminal empire to become national celebrities and a corporation, but the sci-fi nonsense and random convoluted things really threw me off, such as actual real aliens in the storyline, an actual zombie Apocalypse, mass effect-like spaceship, becoming the president and blowing up earth, was really unnecessary and it was clear they're trying too hard to be different from GTA. In the first and second games, they really had their own interesting spin, on open world crime, and was actually distinct from GTA in many aspects besides stealing cars, blowing stuff up and robbing.

As stupid as this will sound... id give the rest of my life just to spend a day talking with the houser Brothers..

I wish they included the Shea Stadium or the Yankee Stadium at least. The lore explanation would be either they are there but in a different part of Liberty, or they were demolished before the game takes place.

The swearing limit definitely sounds like a scriptwriters choice. They probably didn't want the swearing to come off as unnatural or like you said ridiculous, even though GTA V 's story is blatantly an over the top satire.
